On a positive note, I did save some money on car insurance by staying with GEICO..."

Since it's my first season alpine skiing, my family hasn't caught on to my new obsession. At least in the gift department

So, my gift this year was a large gift certificate to Bannana Republic for work clothes. (I can use my own money for ski/outdoor stuff anyway)!

However, my brother gave me ski wax, ski socks, a new nalgene bottle, a bag load of Cliff bars, and the new X-men movie! Yay!

Now, savings from my next few paychecks will go to new skis and bindings!! Double yay!!

    Yo,

Yeah I got hooked up this year. I got an iBook G4 (cha-ching!), complete with Airport EXTREME (heh, I had to shout that one out) wireless card. So now I can watch movies and pump out the bling-bling during the quieter hours at work. Giddyup! Also, my dad gave me one of those nice (and expensive) mahogany manufacturer's models of my airplane...the C-17. A gift from one pilot to another

also netted the Indiana Jones trilogy...yee-haw. Some other things too, but I doubt y'all wanna know.

also we got 8 inches up in the hills to soften my day @ Snoqualmie today...skiing with the little cousins...the softer snow was appreciated.

I would have to say my favorite gift was a book, Odd Thomas, by Dean Koontz. (I see he dropped the R as well.)

The reason this is my favorite gift is because of the giver. The giver was my 6 year old son. He told Mommy he wanted to get me something this year (first time).

    Pretty cool.

    Way Cool Bob. Way Cool

My best Gift was that one of my brothers and his son got to come up and spend a week of skiing with me. I got my nephew some new ski boots for Christmas. The look on his face was just priceless

Mr. AG got me the Phat Luv's I had been slobbering over at Sports Den. And I got him an IPOD. (We convinced relatives to pitch in for a big gift, which was cool.) And Mr.AG managed to be all sneaky and steal one of my boots and the bindings I bought pre-season without me noticing to get them mounted right before Christmas. Very cool.

Snow on Christmas morning after a tough week at work was really the best gift for both of us.

    gifts?

We've been so buried with snow and work that the lady and I haven't had a chance to exchange gifts. With all the snow and closures, could be next year!

I have a summer bag that I will occationally doublebag, but it never works that well.
Don't know how much it weights but it's super light and packs down into a stuff sack the size of 1 1/2 gallon container. It's specifically for serious winter camping.

    Merry Christmas Y'all

Coolest gift i got was from my parents. They came out to visit and brought my brother and his girlfriend so I could see him before he has to go to Iraq for 18 months. Otherwise I wouldnt have seen him before he leaves.

I received way more than I gave, which had me feeling guilty, but everyone was happy with what I did give.

    Scent-Lok bow hunting hunting clothes
bird hunting vest (has been already used for some South Dakota pheasent hunting)
    ski hat
    couple xbox games
    writing pen
    tool kit for the house
    filtering water bottle
    Much more.
