Chris Collins Triple backflip at the 'Ghee

    Yo,
He came, he saw, he hucked and he stomped. Chris Collins after a four hour drive up to the grand targhee on thursday night, woke up early friday morning with the goal in mind. A triple backflip. After seeing his previously scoped cliff had been slide out by a cornice break and avalanche debris from a few days before, he became a little disappointed that his mission would have to be postponed. luckily, he found another cliff that would have to due. after building a kicker on the end of a 60 foot cliff, Collins ginny-pigged it with a double backflip. Coming up a little short on the rotation. Collins hiked back up, and without as much as taking a breath, put his skis back on, side stepped up on his in run to get some more speed. Dropped in, and hucked the triple and stomped it. a few high fives were thrown and Collins insisted that he had to get back to SLC. So he packed up and headed back to get ready for his trip to japan were there's supposedly 13 feet of powder. What a way to start off "2thousand&Sick"

What the fuck is your problem, you idiot? If I think of a "signature move" for Collins, it's a single- or double-back. He throws 'em a lot. He looks wicked smooth when he does it. I think it's cool he throws a triple. I'm looking forward to seeing it. On the other hand, I think you are a jackoff douchebag without a fucking clue, and if you are responsible for editing the footage of Collins throwing the triple, then I won't watch it. Which is too bad- I like TGR movies, but oh well.

Why take offense to that? I am sure Collins would agree he does do alot of backflips.

Anyways, that is pretty damned cool. Look forward to the video.

Collins owns. There is a clip in Tee Time where he and Matt both throw triples at the same time, while holding hands. Ok, they weren't holding hands but it was rock solid. Glad to see Chris back in top gear. Before coming up short on the river gap that kid would go completely bananas (in a good way).

Sounds bad ass. Did he take off for japan? ...because I thought I saw him in line with Sage on saturday.

its cool to see Collins raise the bar to a triple backflip. backflips have become too passe. not that anyone will see me do one, but Im noticing most kids are throwing them with ease on the mtn. way to lay down a new trick to separate the men from the boys.

ps: a stomped triple backflip needs to be edited it in super slo mo

I like my super cool arm thrusting a dart on a fruitfly at 7 yards with closed eyes - and no spinal paralysis so I hate all jumps and flips.I had half my body paralysed by that rapist and it all healed I thanked God - saw wheelchair occupants in Cham that were skiiers - no thanks ! Into water if it is save I will stomp a 4 fold backflip for my sake, but no playing with incapacitation.Anyhow if tehy got Tangerine Dream as I got that bag and my thinking of this triple backflip inspired him - great ! Now I am only thinking of making the staying as save as posible record till I am dead, so ... !

I throw that same trick, we gotta brainstorm a better name though.

That sounds like a painful, yet compelling story, care to elaborate?
