    drinking

well today is my 21st birthday and i think its sad ive already been to every bar in this town. whats the point of having a 21st birthday if youve already been drinking so much in your life already. SO anybody under 21 dont start drinking until your 21st so its actually a big deal.

    Peace out everyone....

Well, maybe you just need to leave Au Claire for a town with more bars. Or start doing meth.

Well, I think that's a big mistake. But then again, I just ate a pill I found on the floor and am drinking a beer right now.

    Happy birthday, BTW!

I thought you were pregnant? Or do you already have the kid? Did you take her/him to the bars with you? That would be core.

I used to road trip with friends just to drink in a new town. Try going to Minneapolis. They are now open to two and they have some good pubs.

I just had one of these for lunch:

As you get older, you'll realize that life isn't about going to the bar, but rather what's in the glass. Happy birthday! Be safe.

happy birthday. Listen to LAN, she speaks the truth.

I'd never been to a bar till I was 19. The years before that taught me that the best drinking nights were when there was plenty of good brew and close friends.

the bar is great for catching some stray tail, however

    and Happy Birthday again.

You know your town sucks when 2 hour road trips to Minneapolis seem like a good idea.

Me too. I'm sick so it made me start coughing to death when I tried to laugh, but it was funny.

The only things I drink while on duty:

I did get drunk during an anthropology final during college, but that's a whole 'nother story.

More important than the stuff in the glass is what you are doing and who you are doing it with. I've had some of my best times drinking some of the poopiest booze out there. 40 night was a favorite of mine and all I ever drank was O.E.......

That said, try drinking during the day. Instead of waiting to "go out" at night with your friends, just pound a few during the day. This has a better effect if it's on a nice summer day, as opposed to a cold crappy day in wisconsin in the winter.

Start drinking right when you get up. This has a way of making the normal events that make up your day seem so much more tolerable.

There are tons of ways to still have fun drinking. For instance, I witnessed a mugging in front of a bar I was sitting in on Saturday night. I would have never seen that mugging had I not been drinking.

I'm not sure maddog is lower than O.E. I would say the other way around. After all O.E. is charcol filtered and there always seems to be charcol residue at the bottom of every bottle. Either way you can get drunk real cheap, but have one hell of a hangover the next day.
