Anyone have any experience with a cell phone that I can get e-mail, good reception, and not toast on a pow day? I don't have a contract, but am looking at verizon & t-mobile because of their good reception in the Colorado mtns. Specifically the Winter Park area.

Partial answer. My wife has the Palm Treo 650 on Cingular. Reception and email are great. Palm has just started selling the Palm Treo 700 for Verizon. Instead of the Palm OS, it runs MS. For corporate use, it may kill the Blackberry.
Unfortunately, my wife doesn't ski, so I don't know how it would survive a pow day.I ski because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things.

i have always gotten pretty decent reception w/ verizon in and around winter park
