If this ski does as Stephan says, it will turn the industry on it's ear with some revolutionary design that will be imitated and heralded as major innovation.

You can take any chump, put them on an Esky lid and make them paddle out at Pipe, just like any chump can grab a snowboard and get to instructor-level within 2 days.

Funny I said the same thing first about shaped skiis and then about fat skis. Not that I'm knocking skiing its still an awful lot of fun but to be at a high level in any sport takes a lot of time and commitment regardless of the learning curve to grasp the fundamentals
