    Blizzard Reunion

How long is it since Blizzard of Aahs was released? Gotta be getting on for fifteen years.

Wouldn't it be something to get Plake, Hattrup, Schmidt and Murray Ball back in Chamonix for a steep skiing week? You'd pay to be part of that, wouldn't you?

    Irony is ironic.

This might seem like it makes no sense but it will.

I think we missed the 15 year already.

If I recall there was some mention about Stump working with Plake and Kye Peterson in Cham last season in SBC Skier. And Schmit just happend to be there also. Surprised that there have not been a couple threads with rumours about this, unless I have missed them. Think TGR has a hand in this next Stump project.

...TGR should have hired Stump from the beginning, but what do I know?

I know Roo and I wouldn't mind some classic acid house beatmatched in the new film

Indeed they do. It's no coincidence that Stump moved to Jackson.

Actually, according to the SBC article, it was Hattrup who happened to be there, not Schmidt. If I remember correctly, the article said that the movie (which Stump was not directing, but was there giving some technical advice) was to be more of a "mainstream" documentary, instead of TGR/MSP style ski porn.

I also remember a rumour a couple of years ago that Schmidt, Plake and Hattrup were filming in Europe for a ski film that was going to be titled "Over the Hill". Don't know whatever happened, though (or even if the rumour was true).

I heard this too, from one of the over the hill horse's mouths. They were filming on the Jungfraujoch glacier from what I remember. Never heard what happened to the footage. Did it turn up in a Warren Miller film or something?
