looking for the ever elusive Mid-Fat

ok. i know i will get some newbie jong replies with the mid-fat question, but here goes anyway. i'm looking for a maggot deal on a new pair of boards to complete a fairly big gap in my quiver. so far i have:
194 flame big's second year with the flames, with no bindings (very dead feeling skis, but no coreshots or huge damage)
190 second gen bigs (pink with the feather) these are my rock ski touring choice.
191 gotamas (first gen) purely neck deep slow speed powder skis becuase of the soft flex
191 B Squads- huge line skis for less than neck deep powder and mocing through crud
182 (i think) last years rc4 fisher race ski.

the bigs would fit in great betwen the groomer boards and the fatties, but they are so skied out and lifeless that i dont' really want to continue on them.

i'm looking for a ski that i will be able to have fun with on the groomers (i.e. not a noodle and some decent sidecut to have fun with), and yet be able to take a few runs out in the trees/ ski the muck with. i haven't skied the squads yet, so who knows they might be fun on the groomers. they have enough sidecut and strength in them that they might actually be fun. the gotamas have not enough sidecut to them to have a bunch of fun on the groomers with, plus they don't feel very torsionally stable.
anyway, suggestions are appreciated or if anybody wants to spam me with their trade, feel free....

    How about my AK NKO

these are exactly what you are looking for, and have sweet TT9 Racing bindings on them. it's a ripping ski, that handles hardpack groomers with ease, busting off really any shape turn, plus they have enough width in the tail and shovel to deal with crud, trees, etc.

I'll second the suggestion of NKO's. Prolly tied w/ Machete Sins for favorite mid-fat skis I've ever owned. I'm considering another pair of NKOs for pretty much the same reasons as you, but am also looking at the 8800 and G4 Vertigos.

Elan 777s. soft tail, very torsionally stiff (much more so than the stiff bros and volkl mantras I have in the room next to them) really fun, stable but damp ski. I am selling mine (new, on warranty, skied the replaced pair 2 seasons/250days), but am trying to do it locally. If you can find em, pick em up. If you live near Nelson BC I'd consider a sale, but am a little lazy to bother sending them elsewhere. As I've said many a time - they are without a doubt the best ski I've ever skied.

Oh, and for the inevitable question: I'm selling them because I only want 1 ski. I've gone with the mantra on a warranty (delam g4s), I don't like it as much all round, but it seems a little better for some things such as hucking, which is what I enjoy. I also ski 90% backcountry, though the 777s were still very good for that.
