    Slowboarder Redemption

Well I'll be damned. Just when you figure all slowboarders are dirtbags, you get proven wrong.

I was out touring today and when I came back from a couple of runs, 4 snowboarders were standing at the cabin. I gave them my usual "You fucked up my uptrack" hairy eyeball and then noticed they had cut their own uptrack and left ours alone. In all my years I have never seen that. I walked up to them and told them I was TOTALLY impressed. One of them said he had never seen skiers as angry as when he had post holed their uptrack and never wanted to go through that again. He also suggested that if I wanted to snooker snowboarders, I should just put my uptrack under low hanging branches that are covered in snow as their snowboards don't fit under. Hell of a guy.

    Wonders never cease.

There's no such thing as bad snow, just shitty skiers.
