So my dads old iMac with os 10.2 just stopped working it won't start up at all and I can't get it to startup in OS 10.4 and he doesn't has a resore disk. Any Ideas?

Start it up off the system disc (either the 10.2 or 10.4). Hold down the [C] key during startup with the disc in. Then attempt to repair the old startup disc.
