Had ch 1 and 2 open until about 10:30ish. Good fun with lots of nice soft snow. Not all that deep due to the rather amazing wind. I think I saw 92mph average for the top and 160mph gusts. They then shut everything down but 15, 8, and 7. Time to drink early!
Its a rain/snow mix in town, but quickly changes to snow. It has been snow all day at ch 2 which is the good news.

mammoth patrol web site saying 24 inches since this morning at sesame street plot. (mid mtn) rumors of already 3+ feet at main lodge. The upper mtn will be totally different from last week. pretty much all snow with about a half hour of rain mixed in today so far. Ski on! oh I mean, it sucks here, jackson is going off!

Yep, I'm gonna agree with you here. It looks like Tuesday is the day. tomorrow we might get a break which would be cool.

I was in Mammoth all of 15 hours or so. Arrived to pouring rain last night, woke up to some wet goopy stuff and only Chair 8 open, got in my car and came home. Happy New Year
