Sitting in carbondale waiting for the fam to get ready, not sure if we are going to be going to the Highlands or Slowmass today. Look out for someone wearing a red arc teryx softshell with Mantras and HammerHeads

Mrs. Stall and I are meeting some folks at the Merrygoround at 10:30 - White helmet w/ PM stickers, brown pants, gray jacket.

    karl,

just got back 4:03pm and a damn fine day up there at highlands. Is there a better ski area? Sorry to miss you. we will be at ajax tomorrow and hoping for some more pow. Yellow moonstone, blue helmet, mantras or Axis XP. The wife snowboards.

as for everyone else who wished us well................deep and fluffy in the north woods. St Moritz to the bottom traverse was soft as well. The Northwoods are consistantly the best run.......period. We did G-1/G-0

    can't wait till tomorrow.

    Kailas,
Yeah. the cell phone seems to be a problem for me. Friday was the day I got my haircut by Wyman so I was probably on my way to or from the barber shop. Wish you would of said hello - next time.

Deep T. is a cool lift, and the Northwoods are good skiing, but I think that the new lift and the bowl have made Sodbuster an unloved stash - there were untracked lines there around 1PM while the bowl and temerity shots were hammered.

Hope you had a good time in sillyville. crazy crowded but still fun.

I was working the ski shop and saw two bus wrecks and 3 tourons crash
their SUV's, it was that crowded and that many idiots in town. But the
skiing was good since it seems most of these people don't come to ski but
try and look rich and cool in Hasbeen. Happy new year.
