Not when you could get a Seth Pistol for $30 more. JMHO

(except they're out of stock, Pinner. DOH!)
((prolly more ski than you're looking for, but oh what a deal this is))
(((should you buy them? well that depends on whatcha need. that's not a bad price on that ski, but it's also not the world's greatest board)))

okay, Imma cut my losses now and leave this thread while I still have my dignity.

((((yeah right Pinner, you're hanging out here. dignity's got nothing to do with it.))))

well those 4x4's linked by pinner are a great deal, but only avail in 188 -- prolly a little long for divegirl!

DG - have you demo'd the little big phats? i think that's a great choice for you. in fact, i think i recommended them to telenater when he asked me about my scratch BC's as a possible ski for you!

edit: hey DG -- you changed your sig! dont you like men anymore?

    Hey Britney!

Thanks for the tips! Yes, a 188 ski is too long for me at this point!! I haven't actually demo'd the Dynastar LBFs, but everyone is telling me or Nater that it's the ski for me. However, I'm wondering about your Scratch BCs. Have you demo'd the LBF? If so, how do they compare with your Scratch BCs?

Yeah, I changed my sig. I still kinda like men, but I have come to realize that it's better I keep a low profile and my posts a little more G-rated. If ya catch my drift. Heh, heh.....eh. Considering past posts and all.....and besides, I need a little more time to myself before I start dating again (halloween break-up)...so men are my last priority right now. I like skis more than men at this point

So tell me your opinion on the LBFs versus your Scratch BCs!

    Thanks!!

    Hey SummitCo 1776!

I'm actually fairly new to the sport (started this season) but picking it up pretty quickly (according to some other maggots). So, I'm only looking for the Dynastar LBF in the 168 length. However, the Scratch BCs come in 176. 168 is really short compared to the kind of skis I see you guys talk about all the time. But I hear it's a good ski for an up and coming skier. Do you have any experience with this type of ski? Or know someone who does?

Oh, I dove at UC Santa Barbara for 2 years, then transferred to UC Davis and dove there for 3 years including a redshirt year. I've been to competitions all around the states...do you have connections?

divegirl: i thought your nick reffered to SCUBA diving

One of the gals at the shop jsut got a pair of the LBFs in 158 and mounted them tele. I asked her what she thought and she said she hadn't skied them enough to make an opinion... but that she did have one of her bindings fail and drop a ski while she was on the lift! that sux. i'll let you know.. maybe she'll have skied more in the next few days. she didnt buy it for resort use (at that length)
