    HELP ME!!!

OK, so here's the story. I broke my finger and the doctor said it will be around 6 weeks until I can ski again, but since I live in Jersey thats like half my season. But it's a finger for crying out loud. You can still ski with a broken finger, but my parents still won't let me. Any advice on how to convince them that it's not a big deal. Would you keep on skiing with a broken finger?

Just tell your folks to shake the sand out of their vaginas. A broken finger should barely slow you down. Slap that sucker in a cast, mold it to your ski pole, and you're ready to go.
The older I get, the better I was.

C'mon. You're a manager for cryin' out loud. I expect more from you.

Holy shit glad I didn't grow up like this. In my house growing up a busted hand or finger was taped up to fit in a hockey glove and molded to hold a stick. Holding a ski pole just does not compare to the impact of hockey on a busted finger/hand. Tell mom and dad to suck it up and slap some tape on the finger.

You could ski without poles. It is fun. Can even improve your technique, if you're "lazy" with poles.
Getting in the lift-line, and loading sucks, though.
With your digit protected, of course.

If my wife was able to while 6 months pregnant I'm sure you're not too much of a wuss to ski with a broken finger...tell that to your parents...

And skiing without poles does improve your skilz...but the stigma of looking like vaginal flushing effluent may not be that desireable...

I broke my wrist last December and immobilized it and was skiing 5 days later. And I'm hardly a toughguy, theres just not much risk to further injury. If you can handle a little pain or take some ibuprofen, then go for it.

I feel your pain, literally. Classic boxer's break here, three pieces, 2 screws and a plate holding it together. As tempted as I am about getting after it on skis and horses, the doctor said no way for a reason. I kind of like the way my hands have all ten fingers.....

I would recommend using some vaginal sand removing equipment similar to what is shown below.

He obviously had his din settings too high - wasn't able to release before injuring himself.
