any Utards want to ski next week?

My brother and I will be in SLC, skiing Jan 1st-Jan 8th... We'll be at Solitude the 1st, after that it sort of depends on what/who we find. We've never been to Brighton or Snowbasin, so we'll probably spend at least a day at each (a tour guide for either place would be great). The rest of the time, we'll probably be at Alta or Snowbird.

So, if anyone wants to ski with me (with the exception of Stump), let me know. Based on pictures, my gear is gayly similar to Stump's, except I'm taller, have older Gotamas, and green pants.

Alta/Bird. At least a couple hours most days next week. Tuesday afternoon is out.

Green is the new plaid, from what I've been told... Or maybe it's the other way around, I don't know.

Monday sounds like a good day for everyone to hit Alta. Time and place?

I'm thinking of hitting Solitude on saturday if anyone's going to be skiing that day.

I'll show you what I can but you seem to have a good feel for the place.

I may be in town around the same time, I leave the rightcoast on Jan 2nd and should be there by late the 4th-5th. if the snow is right I may stick around and ski for a day or two........

I may end up stuck in Park City if I can get ahold of my friend that has a free couch but it would be cool to hit up the basin or alta/bird, haven't been to Utah since the famous incident....

edit: holy shit that was the first time that I ever actually map quested my drive..........Jesus I hope my buddy brooks who is driving out too has two way radios, thats a long FNKN drive!

You could practice beacon drills out on the highway...yes, while driving.

The 3rd will probably be the day... If I'm going to go exploring new places, I want to do it before I'm worn out.

You're always welcome over at my place. Hopefully Basin will get another storm before you're out this way. Your last trip was epic.

    Alta Monday . . . . I'm on board.

    Solitude tomorrow? Anyone. Anyone.

    So it's looking like:

1st - Solisunday - Someone want to remind me of the meeting places/times? Is it Eagle @11?

    2nd - Alta

3rd - Snowbasin - if someone would like to declare a meeting time/place that would be good...

That's enough planning for me, after that will probably be just going where ever. I lose my internet connection this afternoon.

Looks like a good plan to me. I will be tagging along with Crash posing as his brother. Blue coat, grey pants, black helmet with stickers, and will most likely be skiing on a pair of older B3's.
