    Holy Frickin' Cold Fronts Batman!!

go back into work to watch Jackass vid and its 55 degs. and you can smell the moisture in the air ... walk out 20 minutes later and the wind has easily doubled and the air wreaks of brine shrimp and the temp has dropped a solid 10 degrees

look up into the sky and can see the leading edge of the cold front in the dark ... it looks like something from a horror movie

driving home on 215, it is obvious i am just behind it, then get even with it and then pass it as the temp goes up 5 degrees. felt like i was a Storm Chaser in Kansas dodging sagebrush, sand, styrofoam, etc. while driving home - frickin' wild!!!

gonna be buff-a-lickous tomorrow boys and girls

p.s. Red Baron is prolly jizzing his jammies right 'bout now

Red Baron's jammie jizzing aside, they're shooting in LCC from 6:30 until 8:00, and then the hordes of tourists will swarm the canyon/Alta after it opens for... the rest of the day. Ugh.

I can't believe I have to work tomorrow.

The wind felt like it was going to blow the house down a few minutes ago.

And me - I am all stressed it will rain New Year's eve, cancelling my planned trip to 600 feet of vertical gaper bliss.

    Bwa!

Well, I was being helpful, not skiing today and all. That should have helped counter all the jinxing going on. But apparently not enough.

Wow! The way it was raging all night (and this morning) I had visions of at least a foot. 3" of graupel @ 6800' and it is heavy enough to not drift despite the hurricane gusts. This be some strange weather...

It is snowing again in Solitude right now. Hopefully it will keep up through the morning and day. Maybe it will take shape after all.

Tell me about it... in Boulder this morning: came in to work about an hour ago and it was 45 and sunny. I just looked out the window at an enormous storm coming at us, two seconds later its snowing. Nice.
