    Digi Cam-Help Me Out

I'm looking for a camera where i can capture some great skiing photos, but I will also be using it for other photography.I want a mid sized camera with atleast 5 megapixels.Max $600 retail.I'm looking at the Canon S2 IS, Sony DSC-H1, and Panasonic DMC-FZ5. Any other suggestions?Picture would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the FZ5 and am happy with it. Shoots super crisp/clean images with the leica lens. 12X optical zoom is also a highlight. I tried out the Sony and was also pleased with it's performance. However, picture quality wasn't as great as the panasonic. Seemed a tad bit slower as well.

Take a look at the Sony V3. The AF is very fast, which means what you see in the viewfinder when you push the shutter release is what you are going to get in the picture; very little shutter lag=good action shots. Also, the V3 can use Compact Flash memory cards as well as the Sony Memory Stick.
