First, last season's:

So, I mounted a pair of rental bindings on my new / old Phantoms, and had a fine day in the Patsy's area at KMart today.

These do NOT suck on groomers, although, if that's all ya got, then I wouldn't whip these out. Dual edging is real easy, though.

I have to say that any serious Eastern skier should give these a try. They are actually a great value, because, as I said in last years thread, wearing them significantly expands the skiable territory in any place on any day. Take today at KMart, which normally would have been a boring week old snow day with the non Christian gaper families. I spied Patsy's and Low Rider before I called it quits for the ride home - they looked good. Click into the Phantom's, and I'm enjoying the cement in the trees - certainly much more than the rocks in bumps outside the trees. And it's all mine - not even the snowboarders were in there. (Although, to paraphrase Ice, I'm sure many of the tree rats were home fueling the gravy train).

I have two pair of the originals, one with rentals, so PM me if you want to try. I will be at Gore and Killington all winter, mostly weekends. Dave, the owner of the company, has a season pass at Gore, but travels for pow in the east.
