Bode's just pissed off because he got three "random" drug tests in a row, right after the publicly said that FIS should stop drug testing. I can see why he might be a bit more sensitive than normal right now (and this is the guy who threatened to start his own racing tour last spring, remember).

Also, it appears he's reconsidered his threat to quit.

I think most of you would be fed up too if FIS singled you out for extra drug testing. Showing up at your house unannounced in mid-summer, asking for you to pee in a cup, and then fining you when you aren't there...yeah, you'd all be stoked, for sure. All b/c you had to tell them 6 months before that where you would be shitting that weekend, and got to your house to take a crap a few hours late. This reeks of the shit they've been trying to do to Lance. They just want "euro" sports to stay euro, so they go for the mind-fuck instead of producing athletes that can compete. If anyone is whining its the euros b/c Bode and DR are getting all the press. France hasn't had a guy win a globe in how many years (???) and the Austrians lost the throne for a year...boo fucking hoo. If the Austrians got singled out and had to pee in cups as much as Bode they'd be bitching too.

bode is ok by me but daron is the man. super cool dude and HARD chargin freeskier, but its still pretty gay that he sold out to SB just to make a little money but i guess it helps pay the bills right?

definately rootin for marco to get back into the scene though. after that dumb stunt he pulled to fuck up his knee he needs to step it up and show that he can hang with the best of them.

Bode writes a weekly column in the Denver Post (Tuesdays I think) that is generally poorly written and usually ends up in some sort of gripe session about how this and that about the World Cup is bad. Seems like it is everything from the location his trailer is parked to drug testing to bid # drawings, etc. Kind of like a multi-millionaire baseball or basketball player bitching that they have to carry their own luggage to the private plane.

He is a good skier and I root for him, but I wish this persecuted athlete act would cease.

Sooorrrrrreeee...it was snowboarding that made skiing un-gay, not those queebs poaching the park at tremblant.
