    How close is too close

how much space should you leave between old mounting holes and new mounting holes, minimum. The skis are 8800's with one mount.

At the very least, I've always said that you need atleast one hole length between two holes, and make sure the old one is plugged up properly.

For me, I would rather see this done with epoxy than with a simple plastic plug, particularly if you are worried about strength.
    Much stronger bond.
Most shops use plugs, so if you are having a shop re-mount, why not remove the old binders and fill the holes with epoxy yourself? then drop them off for the shop to mount.

I plug my old holes with JB Weld, then form them down to be flush with the topsheet. I did this on my styrafoam & balsawood skis (LINE's).

almost everything except wood glue will eat away at the guts of a ski-- espically jb weld, gorrilla glue, super glue. ect

use wood glue ( even if the core is not wood) to ensure longevity and a solid bond
