    baker trip

I'm thinking about a trip to baker on the 28-30. So jsut to make this clear I'm super poor and need a little advise/hookups to make this happen. So my main problem is a place to stay. I'm thinking about sleepin in my car but It'll be a little packed with 2 guys. are their any hostels or ridicously cheap hotels maybe even a couch? My second dilema is lift tickets. any help would be appreiciated.

Accomodations near Baker. Some are pretty cheap. With the current weather you could bring a tent.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

Option 1: Get a job as a liftie, stay for $5 in employee housing.
Option 2: Join the Mountaineers for $90, stay at the MT. Baker Lodge for $20
Option 3: Stay at Motel 6 in Bellingham for $39.
    Living vicariously through myself.

I'll be there the 31st through the 2nd. I won't be skiing unfortunately, but Bomber and two other non maggot friends will be and could probably use a tour. Anyone else getting up to Baker for New Years? We should meet up.
Sorry no help with discount tix or lodging. I do know the upper lot is fine to overnight in your car. No bathrooms or hookups though, but it's guarateed not to be too crowded.

I have to set up the locals qualifier for the Banked Slalom on the 31st, and then we are having a big shindig at my place in Glacier if you guys are looking for something to do. If anybody wants a tour on the 2nd, I'll be around, and hopefully sobered up by then.

Normally I can swing a few tickets, but I am completly maxed out right now, I have too many athletes showing up this month, and after last months ticket ussage. Baker is starting to real;ise that I gave out egnough tickets to a pay for a few seson passes so things are tight. Sorry dude, But I look forward to seeing some more maggots on the hill.
