    FYI

If you bite down hard enough your teeth will go right through your tongue and it will hurt. Bad.

Mine is still attached...though perforated and bloody. Of note, it still hurts and Copenhagen burns, though not bad enough not to chew. I'm a junkie.

Haven't done the teeth through tounge before, but I've done the teeth through lips before. Bad news having any major damage to the mouth (though it was cool for about 45 minutes to be able to blow blood bubbles through the hole about a cm below my lower lip...).

side note to any musicians.... If you have stitches in your lips (or tounge), don't play your brass insturment. Tearing the stitches out hurts more than the initial injury and ends your hopes for a career (yeah right). At least it freed up time for skiing...

    Dear God,
Please never let me bite partly or completely through my tongue.
    Thank you!

after taking a chunk out of the side of my tongue a few years ago - I wear a mouth guard when taking airs. I just keep it in my jacket pocket and take it out after I collected all of my gear from my yard sale landing.

Anyone remember the photo a few years back in Powder of the guy with his tongue full of stitches?

I pulled a grocery cart on top of myself on christmas eve when I was six. Nocked out my two front teeth(insert xmas joke here), and bit all the way through my lower lip. That was cool.

Like a bloody omlette, the habanero salsa added a nice burning sensation.
