I'm still working on encorporating this into my personal interweb-weather-voodoo but have been really fascinated lately with this jetstream site: http://squall.sfsu.edu/crws/jetstream.html
and if some weather-nerd wanted to pontificate at length about how the jet affects the weather I'd be all ears.
