A very short TR from a very short trip

I didn't go to work this AM but I had to make it to an 11:45 luncheon.

My only pass is to the Basin and this morning with them reporting 14" I figured that it would be okay to burn a day. Bosses were informed and b/c the lifts don't turn till 9 I left nice and late sleeping till a luxurious 5:45.

    Sims & 285 ~7:10am

I like driving the I-70 fustercluck on weekdays but it sucks when they close the pass cause then you can get fucked by the Hazmat trucks.

I was a little late getting in owing to the I-70 detour oh well being on lap 1 is functionally good enough. Hell, even lap two wasn't a complete waste:

Sorry no action pics (or even more pics). I was pressed for time and couldn't be bothered to do shit other than to ski. Man, it kills me how fast that place gets slayed out. Only 15 mins late for my deal too.

Yeah it is a bummer how many people have access to a season pass to A-Basin now with that Colorado pass. I bought a stand alone pass last year and couldn't believe the crowds. Made the right decision doing Loveland instead this year. From what I hear I should have done Loveland today over the Jane.

yes, the sunrise was good enough that I stopped and dug the camera out of my backpack in the back of the pickup. Only wish I could've been out of the city's debris by then. Oh well. Glad you liked.

Greugar- While I do agree with you somewhat, especially in the latter part of the season, this was pretty much all locals. Plus a few gapers such as myself.

greguar - late season = super packed pali line but still not crowded pali lines if you catch my drift.
