    $46 Snowbasin lift tickets?

This aint gear related, per se, but i have a question for UT and specifically snowbasin maggots. I'm having my bachelor party in park city in early february and intend on skiing snowbasin one day. is there any way to score the $46 tickets from a maggot w/ one of the discount cards? Any other tricks to getting discounted tickets at the basin? I will do my best to make it worth your while -- smuggled porn or real beer from Colorado? let me know.

There is a ski shop in Eden (by 4-way stop) on the way to Powder Mt. that sells discount tix to Snow Basin, at least they did last year when I was there. It'd be worth stopping if you want to try Powder Mt. as well.

...why worry about saving a few bucks on ski-tix??? ...skip a few lap dances and you'll have some $$$ left over for lunch at Deer-Valley, ...emmmm, never mind!

Along the same lines as the shop in Eden, Canyon Sports and most other rental shops have them for between $47 and $49.

True, Canyon sports would be good.

However, if coming from PC, you will be I80 to I 84, getting off on exit 92 for Morgan, UT. Not ANYWHERE close to Canyon sports OR Eden, the other side a good 45+min round trip from I84 exit that will drop you at Basin in another 10 minutes or so.

Can you order them before somehow, like vouchers maybe?

Basin rocks, you will have a killer time.

Good point. I took this to mean that discount lift tickets are avilable at multiple rental shops around UT...which would mean probably in Salt Lake and perhaps even in PC? Not true? Will be either flying to to SLC, or visiting the valley to go to Alta, so if there are options in Salt lake that is less of an issue. Thanks again for the beta.

Edit: Canyon sports has SLC locations where discount lift ticks can be had. And, they have some pretty good deals on lift tickets all over:

yes, there are plenty of options in the Salt Lake Valley, and in most cases, I believe you buy a voucher for a ticket, rather than a ticket for a specific day, so you should have no trouble at all.

You will need to pick up the tickets before driving up to Park City. I have never seen any shops or stores in PC selling discounted tickets.

Yes, this is the way to go if you come up from SLC than from PC to Basin.

As RB said, you should be able to work out vouchers then exchange em at the ticket window of _________ Mountain and proceed to rip the rest of the day.

Hit up a SKI-N-SEE or canyon sports on your way to PC. THere aer convienent locations for both on your way. You won't find them in PC.

Turner Ski in Park City has sold discount Snowbasin tickets the last few years. Haven't checked this year. Just tried calling and they are closed for the night. 435-655-7941 is their number if I don't remember to check tomorrow and post again.
