    insight on solly 900 equipe

When clamped in, there is vertical heel wiggle and the release lever kinda flops around, i.e. it doesn't 'slam' to a fixed upright position. Seems to occur only during snowy days when I'm getting in and out of the binding MANY times a day. Otherwise, they're solid.

These models have the metal heel cup and din to 14. The bindings passed all torque tests and were adjusted properly.

So, is it due to ice build-up or what? Or are they just done fer?

    You're insight is appreciated.

Yeah, I'd say pull the spring out and clean/regrease. That's about all you can do. How is your boot heel? Worn?

spray PAM from the kitchen on your boot sole... could be ice build-up as well

and as said above, check your toe/heels for excess wear.

Sounds to me like a classic snow build up scenario. Clean your bootsoles and make sure you aren't getting any snow under the heel piece ( this sometimes is the tricky one) you don't need much in there to keep form getting full lock down.
Move along nothing to see here.
