Bored out of my Effing mind, I just took my three year old daughter "skiing" on the smallish patch of snow next to the Squaw Creek chair. I'm soaked. She's soaked. But she had a great time and thus so did I

Truckee? No, this is fucking Eureka or Crescent City weather. The view from in TD looks very North Coast.

Ok my depart the east coast to move to Tahoe date has now been pushed back, i need to make more money and all this rain made it an easier decision. Believe it or not AKA was the one that said "you are moving here with how much money, are you retarded? Push the date back" never thought i would have heard my bro say such words..................Jan 2nd is the new date........

Me & mine are coming up to Alpine Meadows on Saturday (24)
    Along with a busload...
We were thinking of bailing...but looks like the forecast says sunshine on Saturday.
Better than rain, at least, as long as no freezing is taking place overnight. Fat chance eh
    Spring skiing for real ?
    Guess we'll find out

KW phone said the snow level is finally starting to drop to around 8K and should stay there overnight for a couple more inches.

Delete that shit. No one is allowed to talk about weather forcasts for the rest of the year. It's like jinxover moved to Tahoe and turned into a rabbit.

    Karl,

When you are done with the car, meet me at Sands Point beach for a BBQ; bring swim trunks and let's go kayaking. My g/f will be there in a bikini too for the sunny warmth.

    back rock skis

I'm being out the rocks I hate. My old noddled out 99/00 Xscream series.

Secretly, hope to rip out an edge to give them a proper death.

    Um, Yep.
    We got soaked today.
Rain all day top to bottom at Kirkwood. The 4 and 6 year olds were very happy to go play in the rain.
Boot deep wet mank at the top of chair 6.

As a bonus once we went out and got wet this morning the power went out and they were kind enough to shut down for a proper extended break around 10A.

It looked like it might have snowed a bit up on the hill around closing, bet we were inside with cocktails by then.

No accumulation in in the valley unless you want me to measure the puddle depths.

    Cheers.

I watched the snow on the lower flanks of Firebreak disapear more and more with each passing hour yesterday.
Could this be the year I use those four free day passes to Vail I get with my Heave pass each year? Red Bull powered ROAD-TRIP might be calling...

Let's hope Daddy get's his Christmas present with 5,000' snow levels on Sunday and Monday.

Sorry, basom. I neglected to account for the lack of shouting and name dropping.
