    Conditions update anyone?

It's sunny here in the foothills... with nothing on the doppler coming our way.
Did it blow through and only drop 6 wet inches?

    Talk to me Goose.

It's still snowing about 7,000 although I haven't heard how much has collected for a couple of hours.

I was just at the top of Harrah's and watched the snow level drop from around 7000 to 6200. It's wet snow at Lake level, but it's snow. Booyaaaa!!!!!

Still snowing steadily @ Kirkwood at 2:30. Sunny and clear w/ light rain in Gardnerville. Thick clouds over the east slope but appear to be breaking up. This might be it until tomorrow night.

When I was up in the tower, there was only a hole in the clouds over the lake. The westside was still covered in clouds. The Kookwood webcam shows all clouds also.

Well hell. Do I drive N, E, or stay put? My kookness and Muir Beach closeouts just put my surfboard out of commission for a couple of days, so any sticking around will be surf-free. Ouch.

Thanks for the unsolicited advice on what mindset should be, I'll work on it.

There was about 4" of new snow on Luther as of 5pm. Waterhouse/powderhouse will probably be good tomorrow.

Nothing but a dusting in Meyers, glad I don't have to blow snow tonite.

I can't believe this storm was a let down as well.

sorry guys, I'm back in Ca, winter briefly escaped my hold, but I've got it back now...

Your regularly scheduled winter will continue when my doc gives me permission to have fun.

Shugs sent me a text saying that "nobody was at KW today, you should have been here."

Well, I fly out of ORD to SFO tomorrow morning, and will be at KW first thing on the 30th!

That is great, but they are calling for more RAIN on friday, even at the wood.

Yup, I am a negative, whining, greedy SOB, but so be it. I figure the more pessismistic I am the more pleasantly surprised I will be by any conditions other than rain and/or sierra cement.

    ps See you there, C!

    arty raining in south lake?

just talked to a friend staying on the west shore and he said its been dumping pretty good tonight. he was driving back from dinner in tahoe city. said maybe 4 inches of snow at lake level and they were plowing. squaw cam looks as if its snowing as well.

he reported parts of alpine with about 5 inches today too. tomorrow might be worth the drive up yet...

It is actually still snowing very lightly in SLT right now, about 1" accumulation at 6500ft.

If it stays cold and with the lack of wind, I bet some of the higher elevation stuff will be really fun, I am actually bummed I can't go tomorrow.

for those skiing tomorrow, get some!

And AKA take some pics with that new camera would ya?
