New Tahoe Nukeage thread: Xmas Week

This week is gonna rock, nuking today, "Big Monday" waiting to pop tomorrow, and more storms lined up for Wed/Thur and Xmas Eve/Xmas Day.

Yes, I am dreaming of a white Christmas....

Let's get the sweet TRs lined up starting tomorrow, and keep 'em coming all week long. We are back on track for some sweet skiing and big storms! Woot! Woot!

1pm Sunday and still snowing hard at the house here in TD.

I'm drinking Guiness and eating potato chip to get big for tomorrow. It will help me push through the sierra cement.

Loving the condo assoc shovels your walk thing today.

BTW: Sac ch 3 this morning was saying it was going to snow in the sierra for another 48 hours. Tues & wed might be pretty sweet too.

    Crosspost from other thread....

I hit Alpine this morning before working this afternoon. Ran into Onehotchili in the parking lot and skied with him. Summit was on hold all morning, but Roundhouse was decent. Coverage down low's still sketchy... didn't hit any rocks, but there's still waterbars, gullies, etc. Top part of Roundhouse (heh) was nice, pretty gloppy down low. Probably 10" of glue at the base, maybe 14" up higher.

Tomorrow should be awesome. I should be there, green pants, T-Races and hopefully Capital Thrashers (time to let them loose)!!!!

Edited to say: Keeps switching back and forth in Truckee (down low in town). Dumping rain, dumping snow. Bodes well for the mountain.

Leave now and you'll have time for a nap in the car before getting in line for 1st chair.

Snow/Rain: Constant snow at 6700 ft in TD. Getting close to 2 ft of new snow. (2pm)

With another storm lining up for later this week, yes. With me not being able to ski any of it again, yes. With hop in town, yes.

    Wink

Forgive my Colorado brethren. They've been programmed to want to road trip. Especially those front rangers who don't realise that it's snowed up here in the mountains everyday for about a month now.

I'm freaking out, I just finished finals and drove home to the bay area today, with all intentions of hitting kirkwood tomorrow. My spatulas went into the shop my bro works at over thanksgiving and he was supposed to bring them home. He's a wedding, shops closed. I have all week, Do i miss tomorrow inorder to have my spats all week? Or to I hit it with my 188 k2 axis xps, and just be thankful for 3ft of fresh?

Get your Spats. You don't want sidecut in this stuff.

Then again, tomorrow could be sick.

dude, if you have skis, you must go catch the storm. isn't anyone at the shop heading up to tahoe over the week that you can go meet down the road here. I bet so. YOU MUST LEAVE NOW!!!! your other sticks will give you face shots for the deep shit and the spats may arrive for the cream.

Hell yes, keep lining those storms up. Oh, and I bet the top of Alpine is awesome tomorrow. I'm just hoping that some of the hikes stay closed so I can get some when I'm off on Tuesday.
It's heartbreaking to see a chick who's too anorexic.
