    I blame Primedia

But for chrissakes, KD. This is just offensive. Can't you guys police this shit?

The below is at the bottom of the page that is updating CR's recovery on powdermag.com

I had originally gone over there to buy a 2006 calendar. Me thinks the free one from the bank will do.

Uh, it's all automated. Just like the ads on google searches or gmail. It's not like anyone did it on purpose. Get over it.

    What would Scot Schmidt think?

I still maintain that advertising personal injury lawyers on this particular page is complete and total bullshit. go to any other page on the site and you won't get hooked up with Ted Lyons.

Go to any other page on the site with a bunch of text about a "head injury accident" and google adsense will once again try to get you in touch with Ted.

It's all done on the fly, and the webmaster has no control over it other than to pull all google ads from the template that displays text-based site content.

They have a service, called the Competitive Ad Filter, that is designed to allow you to block certain adverts based on URLs. This feature is designed to stop you advertising for your competitors, but would work equally well for filtering adverts for lawyers (though it would be a PITA to block every lawyer advert individually). I suppose the question that most applies here is whether you want to block adverts by lawyers, or adverts by lawyers on that page in particular. If the former, this would work well, but if the latter, it's rather a blunt tool.

Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?
