WTB race stock GS Skis....

hey guys.
I'm posting for a friend, looking for a set of 04-05-06 Race Stock GS boards. Sizes 180-185. Preferably not atomic. With or without bindings. Let me know what you got. He'll be coaching and running 3x a week on these so a good set of racestocks that meets the new fis rules is key. I know there are some racers on the board, and I would prefer to get him skis from someone on here.

thanks for the replies guys. Keep them coming. I knew there were some secret racers in the group. On midwest/east hills, racing is one of the only ways IMHO to become a technically sound skier. I love buying/selling on the board because of the trust and honesty factor.
anyone else, let me know. I'm soooo tempted to get the nordicas for myself. the LAST thing I need is another set of race skis. oh well. here's to being a gear who3r.

What's wrong w/ atomics...? Don't want good skis?

no, nothing wrong with atomic SKIS persay. The bindings, however, are a can of worms. I have owned 2 sets of 10.22s/GS-11s and their slalom counterparts. I find atomics extremely heavy, and hate the binding interface and the bindings atomic makes you use. In terms of the skis, don't get me wrong, they rail, but I like a board with slightly more width underfoot and sidecut extending up through the ski shovel with aids in a lightweight skier like me initiating a turn. If my friend wanted atomics, I could have given him a pair uber cheap. It seems like you get some cookies from the atomic pot. I will not spend anymore of my hard earned money on a pair of atomics that makes me use their integrated sliding binding system. I'll take Look p18's drilled into the Rossi/Dynastar plate ANY day instead.

man, this forum is the best distraction from forums ever. ever. I spend way more time on here when i know I have something more important to do, which is sad . There is NOTHING wrong with postashes nordicas. I might take them myself if I can sell my current pair of boards. I've always lusted for those skis, but could not get a good enough deal from the reps. The problem with 180 and under is you cannot race on them in USSA races anymore. The size minimum is 180cm and the sidecut cap is at larger than 21 metres. This sucks, because last year I got dynastar to hook me up with three events worth of their boards. My comrade that I threw the post up for is only 5'9ish, and 188s could be a bit much for him to throw around. The 175 fischers are sweet, but we are not allowed to run on anything that short . Fischer RC4 RS 185cm, w/Marker M51 18 din, mounted on derby plates. Bases and edges perfect. Unsure of vintage, got `em from a college racer. They`re yellow with black/silver/red graphics. Approx 290mm sole.
