    Thumbs down Ticketbastard

    Pricks.

I tried to buy tickets to the upcoming Metallica show in Calgary on Saturday morning. 5 minutes or so after the tickets go on sale I get through online (my buddy is still working the phone hard), I enter all my billing info, do everything correctly (I have done this countless times before) hit submit - and my transaction gets refused. They say I took too long. BS.

Not only did those pricks want to charge me $8.25 per ticket as a service fee (17%!!!), but they screw me over when I try to buy tickets.

    I hate ticketmaster.
I went out there in search of experience. To taste, and to touch, and to feel as much as a man can, before he repents.

Lost out on really good seats for Nickleback the same way, tried again and it went through, but ended up up with really crappy seats.
I spent 45 minutes online and my gf hitting speed dial on the phone for those tickets, got into work Mon am and talked to our secretary - she's got a friend that works for Ticketmaster and ended up with floor tickets without even picking up the phone.

    Ticketmaster sucks.

Could have been worse: You could have ended up with Metallica tickets.

lol...true. The intent of the concert was to reunite some old high school friends. phUnk, I am sure you know how it is...hightops, tight jeans, acid wash, mullets....

WTFRUTA Nickleback puts on one hell of a show. I had floor tickets last time they were here and it was the shit. 2nd best show I've ever been too. Major fucking energy, probaboly partly attributed to the fact that they had all their friends and family at the show. 1st best was LBDA in SLC with like maybe a hundred people, back when they still did all the Sublime songs.

nickelback just isnt my cup of tea, I just think they suck. But if you enjoyed the show, more power to you. Awesome shows: Tool, Richie Havens, Phish, Derek Trucks.
