Aren't there big plans to try and develop that whole area as another resort destination? I heard rumors and grumblings of trams, high-speed quads, and other such things. Poor Rossland if so.Originally Posted by snoboy

Kimberly is also union.
Union resorts can still function and none of those places have outrageous ticket prices.
I'm not really pro-union just against the way some resorts chose to treat their staff.
The fact that not all resorts treat their staff that badly or pay below poverty line wages shows that it is not necessary. Many ski area managers seem to only respect force and threats and will continue to treat their staff worse than shit until confronted by something like this.
Other areas chose to treat their staff well, have much lower staff turnover, training costs and mistakes making the staff more professional and the resort safer.

she's cute.
This is so, I dunno, strange. And sad for Canada's ski industry. Like a large number of Mr and Mrs North America and the 2.5 will be reserving their 7 days above the border for years to come.
But I'll still do Montreal for the naked women and Vancouver for the weed.
