Whoops! I meant Loose Heel in Lock Down Mode (how do you edit a title?)
One of my Freeride heels is rattling just a little bit while in the lock down mode - probably less than 5 mm of movement. I examined both heel pieces closely and can't see any differences between the loose heel lever and the good heel lever. A quick search only resulted in one person's experience with this problem and it sounded like they fixed it by replacing the heel lever. If that's all, I'll take them in and get it replaced. Skis and bindings have around 100 days on them, so maybe the lock down nobs on the lever are just worn out. Any opinions or other thoughts would be great.

my oldest set of freerides has this problem too. i plan to replace the heel lifter soon but first i wanna see how the dynafits perform for me.
i think most of the problem comes from premature wear when you have compacted snow in contact with the plastic. a little bit of viscous movement over a period of time will wear it out.
I fixed this to some degree by stacking tape on the heel assembly where the bar sits. Apply carefully to avoid icing when touring. My freerides have definitely gained some play over the years. They're all I have though.
