I live/work in detroit. (90 min). I work mon & tue but mabey we could meat some point. I'm pretty new to the board but wouldn't mind meeting some new people. Why are you gonna be in Lansing; Family, business, pleasure? In any case not exactly close, but not that far.

I grew up in Lansing, but, sorry, not there anymore. No, wait a minute, I'm definitely not sorry.

Didn't know any one went to Lansing for pleasure. I once dated a hottie from there but other than that I didn't know they were such a tourist hot bed.

And MacDaddy I'm very curious as to why you'll be in Lansing over Christmas. If you're from there, too, I'll be amazed.

I'm not in the area anymore, but check out Claddagh's at Eastwood Towne Center (the new mall off of Saginaw & US-127).

There's a hell of a beer selection there, and if you want some good seafood, walk over to Mitchell's Fish Market for the freshest seafood in the Lansing area.

If you wanna see some live music, check out Rick's in East Lansing on Monday night -- plenty of coed eye candy to go around.

Check out Moosejaw Mountaineering on Grand River Ave. in East Lansing if you need to satisfy the gear-whore in you. They're always running some sale or another so check it out if you've got the time.

PM me if you want any more inside info ... I know a good burrito joint or two & where you can buy $4 fifths of vodka.

Too bad this week all the coeds are back home with mom and dad. East Lansing will be dead as a doornail.

Trust me on this, AD ... there's still plenty of coeds to go around, just not enough to cause 45 min. lines outside of the bars.

    The "brewpub" as in Harper's?!

God, that place sucks -- sorry to hear you went there.

Hopefully Rick's has something going on while you're in town.

Do try to make the best of visiting the in-laws!

That's because there aren't any. No, with MSU East Lansing can be fun, but I can't really say much about Lansing.

So where in Lansing do your in-laws live? I grew up in the northwest part of the city, fairly close to the airport.

Maybe I know your wife if she's from Lansing. Glad to see she made it out if that's the case!

Yea Xover any time. I hope It snowed at least a little when I Left on Sat!

I should be bringing some back w/ me when I return later this week.

Hey " AD" the whole freaking Dad's (in-law)side of the famdamnily are MSU allumni and work for GM and drive Hummers & other fancy company cars, and bleed Spartan Green. My father in-law left along time ago, but they still come back for the holidays.

I dont know where they live really, the main cross street here is Willow and Cyrtes (sic) or some something by the Lansing mall I guess its, on the Westside. Its a real nice suburban "hell" subdivision.

We are about to step out to the clubs I might have some stories later....by the way my cousin in- law is hot...ooops

    pray for snow
