I'm looking for a pair of older model brakes, the ones with the square heel piece to step on (new/used), that will fit s900's and that will fit a ski that is 87 in the mid.

Moment Skis
"How good would you consider yourself at skiing?" "Well, if I was going to rent skis I'de be a level 3"
"lock the heel, ski for real"
isn;t the square heel for bindings that are older then S900 vintage?
both round and square will fit in the binding, but the round just have gaps around the back part
I have the newer ones for $15, new with a home bend.
PM me if you need to
Does anyone (Marshalolson?? or anyone else) know whether the new brakes will actually work in the old binders? I got some s900's that take the square brakes and only have the newer brakes and they dont want to fit in there. I was talking to a tech and he said they wont work but I'm skeptical.
I am a binding jong so any help would be appreciated.
yes the old brakes certainly work with 900s bindings (originally w/square heel pieces), it just takes a little jimmying...but no modification is necessary whatsoever.

should fit in, the round corners of the new brakes might leave a gap in the corners of the heel housing, but should fit in.
also the brake arms are exchangable from old to new, so if you just need fatter arms.
either way I have new style fat brakes for sale still
also, i've got the actual square brakes if you don't want to mount the new style brake - one catch, they have no arms. If you want to buy a set of arms from mtnlion and throw them into these, I'll give you these for the price of shipping. But seriously, the new ones work with no problems, i have the new brakes mounted on my 900s Equipes and i have zero problems
