hey man, if this work situation works out like it looks to, then I might have that kind of money. I might be making NattyD money!!!

Of course, a certain set of touring bindings and boots would come first...and a lot of stuff to my car first, which I have neglected over the years...but yeah. I just want a swallowtailed ski at some point!

and you're just jealous because I'd have more Iggy skis than you!

the FFFs crush all of your iggies. that simple.

when are you actually gonna bring them out too? So far this season you've been on the khuanas almost everyday right?

and if you finally decide to bring the iggies out..which one are you going to choice?

given how boney it is right now, I'm thinking it's going to be an all white FGS and FFL show (once I get them mounted, which I need to do ASAP!!!)...

Great thread. I've had my share as well. I think the quiver has looked something like this:

207 cm / MFFL / 295 flex / Rasta (sold to some dude in MT)
    200 cm / FFL / 260 flex / Bat (my everyday ski)
200 cm / FGS / 260 flex / Flame (sold to a friend of LB)
200 cm / MFFL / 245 flex / Bat (held for hard pack days)
200 cm / MFC / 250 flex / Flower Child (held for hard pack days)
    190 cm / FFL / 240 flex / Crystal (don't remember where these went)
    190 cm / MFC / 240 flex / Crystal (sold to Pinner)
190 cm / MFC / 240 flex / Crystal (don't remember where these went either)
180 cm / MFC / 225 flex / Flower Child (for my wife, unmounted)

Igneous was a fun ride. Met so many cool people (Natty, Particle, Skier666 to name a few). Still the only skis I ride...b

Yo b! Good to hear from you my brutha. Where you at these days?
I remember trying my first iggies (and my first real fatties) on a sloppy day in May at batchelor with b--I'd have to say it was a good day.

LB/Natty- good to hear from you guys too. I started a new company at the first of the year, so I've been a little quiet. I'm splitting time between SF and SLC these days, PM me next time you're in town, I'd love to catch up...b

Natty- glad I was there for that inaugural ride. If I remember right, it looked like you were born on fatties, I'm sure you've only gotten better with time.

    205 cm / "2nd Generation" prototype circa 97' / ???Flex / Fiberglass
    207 cm / MFFL / 300+ flex / SWARM pro model 98'
    190 cm / FAT / 275 flex / Ice Crystal 98'
    195 cm / FC / 300+ flex / "Mad Chortler" 99'

Had a pair of 185 cm FGS, Dark Green-woodish graphic, but sold them to Greydon Clark's brother....which he rocks in Michigan!

I used to be very close with the guys from Igneous, so that's why I've got some stiff versions on the list. The 207 cm, unofficially, may be one of the stiffest skis they ever produced....

    So........you're a bumper?

Pretty sweet Iggy array you've got there. Cool to see the early production stuff. Your collection is currently rivalled only by be, who I'm assuming was an original Igneous insider?

666- do you remember those bolt on "Solutions" we tried to figure out on the galcier that summer

that was nu school gnar at its best.

The number one most asked question while I was at Igneous "when are you guys coming out with twin tips".

Looks like the answer is still "we're working on it"...b

you know, back in the day, I could have sworn FREEZE had a pair of Igneous twin-tips in their buyer's guide. They had a black topsheet with a white spermy guy swimming on it...

Good memory- yes there was a ski in FREEZE, but if you look close it was a computer generated picture. We had this idea that since we couldn't get our presses to make twin tips, we would take the most popular flex and stiffness (250 RA) and contract out a twin tip FGS in a 190. Do a small run with someone who could meet the standards for our manufacturing process and sell a limited number of non-custom twin tips to meet demand. I left around the time that we started discussing it, so I'm not sure if any of those hit the market- my guess is no...b

Yes, I still have those....never actually used them because I bought a pair of K2 Enemy's soon thereafter.

The porno ski was originally produced for a skier named Marc Lopes. Ironically, he's from Jackson, CA not WY. Anyway, he rocked those things at Kirkwood years back. He's now an upcomer on the PBR circuit.

I think they pressed a couple pairs of that topsheet, and I'm guessing they still have the capability of printing more of those top-sheets if need be.
