Arrow ahhh time to pick out a board..

Just wondering if any of you guys have ever heard anything, good or bad, about the burton baron. I have a preety shitty k2 right now thats lasted for a while, but the screws stripped the board and its kind of annoying having to screw in my bindings after every few runs. Ive been riding for a long long time, im about 6'1'' - 6'2'' and about 160 ish. and ive got like size 11 shoes so im gonna need a wide or mid-wide unfortunately. Im prolly going to want about a 160-164 size board, right now i have a 159.. preety short, but i like em that way for some reason.

Ive been snowboarding forever, but supprizingly enough dont know that much about snowboards Im looking for a board thats gonna do great on rails and in the park, but will also be a good freeride board.

Ive talked to some people at some of the local boardshops and they suggested the ride yukon.. burton baron.. and some m3 board. THe burton seemed to be the best one but I was just looking for a second opinion from you guys, or maby a suggestion on another great board.

    thx

Look under boards then used/demos at the 162Wide and the 165. Never tried their twin shapes but the racedecks are sweet. All of their boards are almost certainly better quality than a Burton. Both of the boards listed above are new. Donek is cool but you'd have to wait. Try a Never Summer if you can get your hands on one. If the price is right on the Baron, I agree that it is probably a better choice than the others. The Prior would definitely be worth the money. Good luck!

    Thumbs up

Every time I ride my Neversummer Legacy I think I'm gonna vomit because it's so awesome.

    Option Freeplus?
It's heartbreaking to see a chick who's too anorexic.

Yukon? It's as wide as the Fleetwood (way too wide for an 11 shoe) with the Timeless construction. Too wide and too stiff.
The baron will also be too wide. Try the Royale for all around. If you like a stiffer board go with a Triumph.
Neversummer is a good optoin as their waist widths run a little wider anyways (as do Palmers).
Capita Midlife was a good ride as well.
