Attempting to remount some solly 912s (w/ poweraxe) from a carving ski to a pair of atomic stomps.
Dont necessarily want all the lift of the poweraxe system...
The toe piece appears to be the same height as a normal 912...but the heel is raised with several shims under there....any ideas or experiences with this?
Plan on using the ski as an all-mtn twin tip...would the lift be a bad thing?

more heel lift/ramp angle = harder to ski switch.
if you want the stomps as a park/pipe remove it. leave it for more all mountain
