can't believe Lennon died 25 years ago today.
I was just a we tyke of 9, but I remmeber my mom crying like the world ended.
I was a huge beatles and John fan when i was younger, took Dec 8th of school soph and jr year ( by Dec 8th sr year I was ranked state wide in wrestling and my coach told me he would push my ears together if I cut school in season)
I even wrote a song about it: to the tune of I shot the sherriff
" I aimed at Yoko..
but I missed and shot John Lennon..."
what a loss.

strolled thru strawberry fields while I was there Tuesday.
