IMVHO I don't think roids are as stiff as a Monster (at least the 201s).

meathelmet - are you comparing the og team monsters or the 2 yr old production monsters? i thought the 193's were not as stiff in the sovel as a 194 LP, though its been a while, so i could be wrong... waht say you?

    any other add's? changes?

I got the 04-05 183s from a Head´s team rider, so in that sense they make them a "team", and they seem (by eyeballing) to be of the same build than the 193s. And they have the "team" thingy written on tail too.

And on the im.103s the tip, especially the fore part is suprisingly soft compared to the waist, let alone tail.
Doing a careless "HandFlexTM" could give a bit misleading info.

But,as said,i have only flexed LPs,not skied ´em, so i am handicapped in that sense (too).

Marshal, Any opinion on where you would put the Sugar Daddy on that list? I seem to recall you had some of the original one's with plates? Well done though, definitely helpful.

I think the ANT is stiffer than the stiff Bro Model. The Legend Pro definitely does not feel stiffer than the m103 or Explosiv -- though I haven't skied the LP -- it feels a lot like the Explosiv.

Is the Supermojo actually different (softer) than the m103? I thought those were the same ski, different topsheet.

the ANT and the KW extra is about the same flex (ski'd the ants, flexed the KW;s extensivly). i thought my stiff bros were stiffer than my ANTS, but i may have had some stiff ass stiffsm stiff bros dropped...

    LP dropped down to 8.

supermojo removed. though i do think it is a little softer, after skiing them back to back on runs, it really isnt that obvious.

sugar stiffer than PR, softer than gotama?

I was gonna ask for the dp/capital flex rating. That looks perfect. Thanks!

The sugar\heli is a funky ski to rate. Imo, pretty stiff in the tail and a very soft tip. Based off hand flexing the gotama and skiing the heli, Id think the sugar would be gotamaish. Id say Helis definitely ski PR tip with Mantra Tail/Wasit.

edit: it made no sense before

Ya, the mid and tail section of the Sugar are actually fairly stout, but the tip is softish. I haven't skied the mantra or Goat so don't know how it compares, but my guess is its somewhere in that ball park. The first generation also skied stiffer with the big plate than the later flat one's.

I own the mojos Dug. They hand flex a TAD stiffer than the mantras all over. I would probably say throw them infront of the mantras as they probably arent ANT\Stiff Bro like, although Ive never had a chance to feel those.

On top of the ski, its your basic head, or so Ive been told. Wood core feel with a little more damp feeling than the volkl exploders I have. Personally if I have to ski bumps with anything in my quiver, these are the ones Id want to be on so they cant be that stiff...

people, let's not lose site of the purpose of the list (to give a basic feel for popular skis for broader comparison) by trying to put every ski ever on it.

Not saying anyone is...just a warning cause I think Marshal's starting to rejigger it too much.

FWIW I've had 4 pairs of 183 M103s and they have had wildly differing flexes ranging from Exploder stiffness to redonkulous superhero stiffness.

Also, AFAIK K2 AK Launcher aka/= K2 Mt Baker.

    Awesome list, awesome work.

    PS Linkens. Yeah, baby, yeah.

why don't you go to the first post of this thread and instead look to skis on the RECOMMENDED LIST?
