    Where is the best place in Mammoth to get a stone grind?

    Mr. Skinner-
    They have the giant wintersteiger robot machine up at Main Lodge (which puts out good complete tunes)- I'm not sure about Canyon (though I'm sure they have some experienced techs), Kitteredge has a good shop. Footloose is probably the best place to go for more hands-on race tunes or major repairs.

    If you get the wintersteiger tune, tell them to barberpole the base.

    Kittredge has the Wintersteiger Montana, and they do great work. Especially Andrew or John (a twelve pack will do, keep it on the down low). Call ahead of time and speak to them, the beer hint will save you $. (760) 934-7566, just ask for repair.
