    TR: Sunday Dinner

    The menu from Sunday:

    Pre Dinner Beverage:
Hamms for the gentleman, Grey Goose/Tonics for the ladies

    Chef's Greeting:
    Pate & Crackers
Marinated/roasted yellow peppers wrapped in proscuitto

    Appetizer:
    Seared scallops w/tomato garnish

    Entree:
Pan seared/oven finished NY strip on cheese/garlic toasts
    -sauce: wine with shallots/mushrooms reduction
Gruyere (sp?) topped fried polenta slices
    Tomato salad
    Budini Malbec (ARG)

    Dessert:
Soufflé (with plum jam) & port

Oh yeah, not too shabby if I must say so myself.

    edit: I heart Tony's

Dang, can I come over for dinner some night? I had Miller High Life and Stagg Chili out of the box for dinner on Sunday.

    iski: Eh, sure.

Just know jealousy is a two way street as that meal is where all my ski energy was channeled being on injured reserve over the weekend

homer, no pics... shit! Thats a great idea! Only problem is I'll have to snap the Soufflé shots right out of the oven, still having trouble with them falling a bit (new recipe though is pretty money)

You have a culinary background, or is it just a hobby?

This thread is making me really hungry.

My culinary background = dish diving at The Ranch in Keystone.

Just a hobby, it is funny cause I did not cook for 4+ years after college it being mostly just me but now that it is at least my wife and I, I cook all the time and really enjoy it.

    Almost lunchtime
