If anyone wants to ride Sunday and/or Tuesday (and carpool, if you're in the Denver area), shoot me a PM. Sunday will probably be in-area at one of the 5 mountains, WP, or Loveland, depending on where it's best, though Berthoud old ski area is possible. Hopefully by Tues the avy danger will have subsided some...bc conditions permitting, or in-area if it's still good there.

Does not look like the snow pack is going to gain strength any time soon with the forcasted lowest temps of the season Tues/Wed. Supposed to warm towards the end of the week...

unfortunately, you're probably right...just being optimistic, but likely overly so... of course, within reason, I'm pretty convinced you can just about always safely ski bc...just have to be wise with the terrain selection...uphill and down... Originally Posted by Rontele
