How's the road, chains be mandatory? I've got a civic with snows but no chains or a pathfinder with 4x4, all-seasons & chains. WWMD?
It's snowing and sticking in langley

First off take the Sumas crossing, I left Langley just after 7 on Tuesday, took 1.5 hrs to arrive. Second, snows'll do ya fine but I'd take the truck for kicks. Signs say you must carry chains I believe.Originally Posted by 778skier
As far as skiing goes you can get there early and do a short hike up to the chair 5/6 plateau to start or you can just go up 7 from the White Salmon ticket booth. Chair 8 is nice and long but kind of flat when it's deep. Not a big issue if the snow is light but on heavy days, ugh. 5 is fairly gnar skiing but just watch for rocks and other assorted sharks. Up 6 is great too. Inbounds closed signs are jsut warnings of low cover etc except for the canyon area and OB is truely for BC equipped riders only. Danger Cliff signs are to be heeded as well. Please don't fuck around and go tumbling off the cliffs from Pan Dome on either side of chair 1. Have fun man.

No problem... it's just as good here.Originally Posted by White Chocolate
I think the "thank you" gift R is talking about is the southwest track of the storm coming into CO from WA & OR (that is, if UT doesn't suck it dry first)Originally Posted by funkendrenchman

Good stuff from CO. Now what about that triple-stager![]()
It's nuking at Crystal again and also here in Greenwater. Apparently the top was closed most or all day today due to wind. Guess where I'm gonna be tomorrow!
