Wow...that is all that I can say...wow. Nice pics! It looks like an amazing day. I thought of you guys all day too as I ripped around Hood with a bunch of firefighters. It was bluebird with a nice coating and stayed cold. Can't complain but it certainly wasn't Crystal. See you guys this weekend.

Was there today - your pictures are just like what I've been reliving in my mind for the last three hours. I left with a core shot from a rock and multiple other nicks from that damn traverse towards southback- but it was all worth it!

Am I the only one shocked that Buster has posted a TR with PICTURES?? Is this not an incrediby rare or possibly unprecedented event? Or am I just not paying attention?

REALLY nice shots Bustah! Looks fun.

Sigh. Bomber, Buster, thanks for doin' me proud. I decided I owed my clients the respect of paying them a smidgen of attention...but I'm still grinning from yesterday's buttery runs. Yes, oh yes, I shall be back on the hill soon.

    Talking

    Oh you bastards!

Glad I was too busy at work today to check the webcams. And it looks like the snow reporter 'under-reported' as usual!
Thanks for thinking of us, crazy loco Senor Toque & La Bomber.

Ohhhhh the excrutiating wait until (oh, wait.... Friday - fingers crossed - still have to talk to the boss )

Fabulous fabulous day!!!! Wish we'd skiied together, Buster and Bomber instead of just each going our separate ways. Scott, another arborist, and I ripped the hill to shreds, first bombing the Valley to the high side of the 'berg, then hitting elk Chutes to the Gap, then 2 Powder Bowls to Bear Pit, then some Upper/Lower Bull sweetness, all the while leaving a generous coating of p'tex and steel shavings on the omnipresent rocks, which our radar effectively homed in on time and time again...

Then, after a quick bite at the High Campbell Lodge, we hit the Avy Basin Saddle for a quick run down an awesome 45 degree spine. Next we sampled the King twice down the SE shoulder into some of the best, lightest and deepest snow I've ever skiied on that exposure. Consistent face shots were had in as much as 30 inches of phenomenal pow. For the last two runs, I met up with another arborist bud Scott, and Art, two more senor rippers. When they had to leave, I hung at the King summit and snapped some scenics, as the sun had finally graced us with its warming beams, which I'll post soon. Two more friends arrived, and we finished off the day in fine fashion, poaching Boondoggle which was blanketed with 2 feet of creamy heaven.

No action shots, the goods were beckoning us with too strong of a call......
