I'll be at the Bird's tram deck by 8:30 to try to get first tram before heading over to Alta once the Bird's tracked out. Anyone else gonna be at the Bird at least part of the day?

I am looking to split my time as well. Thinking that the Cirque might be open later in the day though not early. Now that I have said that it's guaranteed to be open in the morning.
