Anyone else getting that scratchy-throat feeling, or working a 9/80 schedule-with this week being the short one? Or just tired of skiing around dirt?
If so, Chair 2-9am could be the solution.
well i've just convinced myself

I have mastered all major sporting activities to a high degree of mediocrity.
B - I would like to join the posse and make some turns but a corp work function calls for the SC game on Sat. From the looks of the weather, if it pans out, you will be looking at some nice freshies come Friday morning. You may want to move that meeting to the opening at 8:30 to take advantage of the situation.
This is the right about the time Comish goes damn, I miss being a student. And Barnballs goes BBWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I may make a run up just for Saturday. Report back here Friday afternoon on prospects for Sat if you don't mind. Have fun.
He who has the most fun wins!
I planned to have Friday off from work a month ago. Pretty good day off to ski/ big dump timing. Driving up Thursday night from the flatland via stop over in Lone Pine. Should be good if advertised storm pans out.![]()
Yesterdays storm put a nice heavy coating down over the whole mountain. The ice rink that was the top of the mountain should be in great shape after this next 1-2ft !!!! Look for Friday afternoon or Saturday to be the call.
Gave up on the bottle, give me the lobotomy.
It's looking more and more like New Years will be my first trip up. I guess I'll have to make up for it on the other side.
.
I feel your pain. When I rolled into the parking lot at work this morning, a bunch of people were gearing up to jump on the Gondola at the Heav. It was hard to walk by that. I shouldn't really complain though, as I'll be headed over there in a little bit myself...Originally Posted by comish

"I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."
I'll be up Saturday and Sunday. Still waiting for more snow before I start using ditch days.

Game on with rock skis raring to go. I'll miss Friday (that 9-80 schedule is still in work).
Yeah, yeah. I know what many of you may be thinking, "He treats every pair of skis like rock skis." Well, I do. It's just now that I have a dedicated pair that I've already thoroughly thrashed.
The Paranoids and Avi Chutes await.
today, the skiing was dare i say "great", but it was really good wind buff all day. Gravy, traverse to 23 wind buff, yeah! oh yeah brought the only skis I had, and didn't hit a rock all day, but was very careful. After the 2-3 feet we should get out of the next one it will be really good, finally.
Looks like I'll have to ski Friday and come home to work on Saturday. Mr Balls if you would like to try some gear PM me or look for us at chair 2 sometime around 8:30.

I got my Vans on but they look like sneakers.....
