    full face with on/off vents?

I have a few year old giro flint SC but it has had use, some abuse, and lots of days, so the hunt begins.

thinking something that doesn't have a removable chin guard but a built in one (I have a giro 9) but MUST have on off vents, Skiing in the rockies is very cold somedays and very warm others, and I dont want to remove it and take out vent plugs.

    Any ideas?

    pssstttt

a little bird told me that there's an ebay store blowing out Flint SCs. IMO the new helmets look fucking ghetto.

I'm looking for something that does not have a removeable chin guard, but a built in one.

nothing with Giro, protek, or salomon (the brands I can order) arghhh shouldn't be this hard ...

    anyone else have some ideas??

Check out the Bell Tension. I have the Bellistic and it fits similar to my Giro 9: oval shaped. The Tension has two adjustable vent holes under the visor.

    Thanks

I think the L might be a little small. I wear XL Giro 9mx. Although I tired on the new 10mx and could wear a L. can you comment on the fit compared to the giro 9?

Sorry for being unclear. I have the Bell Bellistic. It has wide open vents on top, but not too many. Surprisingly, when they get packed with snow my head still stays warm. Perhaps it's the thick shag carpet on top of my noggin.

There's only one review at mtbr, but it's a good one.

I was going to take the Mad Max and try to add vents to it. I'll let you know how it turns out, but if you find anything , let me know. I'm looking for the same thing.

I had the same difficulty, ended up buying the mad max and keeping the flint for warmer days.

I wish Giro would have put controlled vents on the mad max. However, thinking back to last spring, I did ski with the mad max a fair bit and didn't find it toooo bad. Although having controlled vents sure would have been nice.
