How much padding on those pants? 32" is a bit big for me -- I'm a sprightly old elf -- but I could use some extra protection...

shin and knee padding, nothing for butt/hips.
if you are a 30wasit they should be a comfy fit. I'm 32 in jeans and a bit tight.
