I was out @ the Jetty in El Porto on Saturday A.M. Super fun some big ass close out clean up sets kept coming in, never stopped paddling to stay in position!

I was shooting pictures near the jetty last Saturday. I noticed most people were having trouble holding their position. There was a left south of where I was standing (second pic) that was working about every 10 minutes or so yet no one was on it. I've got a few more pictures I'll post later, maybe you're in one.

Yeah, I was there from about 7 till 9:30 or so. There was another guy with a tripod closer to the jetty than I was (I think he eventually ended up standing on the jetty) but I think he was shooting video. I was wearing a blue Voile hoodie.

Ok, yeah, it probably was me. I remember chatting with a guy for a sec and I did have a hood on that morning. I'll look and see if I have any shots with your board color and post them.

Do you surf the jetty often?

To funny! Yes when I am home if the swell is lining up right I will go there, the convinence of walking out vs. paddling out when its big is usually the deciding factor. I will be back in town for NewYears & the Rose Bowl provided SC does their job tommorow.
I have had some epic days @ the Jetty over the years Have hit it a few times when there were only 4 of us in the water for the first 90 minutes. Saturday was fun for the first hour. Once the wind filled in I lost interest. Pretty funny how empty the Porto parking lot was first light.
